What is powder coating?
Powder coating is an electrostatic process in which colored powder is applied to the workpiece and then baked on. The result: a durable, uniform, and environmentally friendly surface without solvents.
What are the advantages of powder coating?
It is extremely robust, UV- and corrosion-resistant, and available in many colors and surface textures—from matte to glossy, smooth, or textured. It is also economical, durable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Which parts are suitable for powder coating?
Metal parts made of steel, stainless steel, or aluminum are suitable—e.g., components for machines, furniture, fences, rims, moped and car parts, or building elements. Even delicate or complex shapes can be coated without any problems.
Do you also offer powder coating for private customers?
Yes – we can coat rims, moped parts, and small parts as individual orders. Students and trainees even receive a discount on moped parts. Simply send us a sample or inquiry!
How much does powder coating cost?
That depends on the part, its condition, and the desired color. Moped parts are available from around €20–30 per item. We offer special prices for students!
How long does powder coating take?
Depending on workload, approximately 5–10 business days. Express service available upon request.
Can I send in my parts?
Yes, we also offer shipping services, but only by prior arrangement and at your own expense. Please ensure that packaging is secure for transport and labeled.
What colors are possible?
We offer a wide range of RAL colors—from classic matte black to eye-catching effect colors or clear lacquer. Special colors are available on request.
What is the difference between wet painting and powder coating?
Powder coating is more durable, environmentally friendly, and provides a more uniform surface finish. No chipping, no fading—perfect for parts that are subject to heavy wear.
Is the coating heat resistant?
Yes – powder coating can withstand temperatures of up to 180–200 °C. Also ideal for engine parts and rims.
